Speedy deletion of Clarion Technologies

A tag has been placed on Clarion Technologies, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Hi Trulyblue!

I have added the comments on your talk page, at the same time I am adding comments here. I just intend to add this article in the list of 'Software Companies of India". There are many companies listed in this category. I believe, (with some changes, if needed), I should be able to post this article. Please let me know and I will carry out the changes. I am new to this process and I have to learn many things. However, I am ready to learn all. Please let me know your comments. It seems that someone agreed with me and deleted the article. This is what I wrote on the discussion page, whih I hope may help explain why this happened.

There are several issues with this article:

• The use of peacock terms such as "mighty force" and "highly experienced, well rounded programmers" suggests that the author is trying to promote the company.
• The creator's username suggests that they may have a conflict of interest in writing about the company
• (more importantly) the article fails to show notability for the company, which therefore fails the test for notable companies. There needs to be a more specific assertion of notability, and references in Secondary Sources to show notability.

This was a great source of information for me. Thanks for the detailed explanation! I will go through the How to write a great article and Manual of Style. I will rewrite the article and will also enlist the secondary sources. I just wanted to highlight that : A person can also come up with a completely different user name and still post the article. The User Name might indicate some relation, however, may not be true. However, I will certainly consider the other objections and will work on the article accordingly. Yes, the conflict of interest is only assumed from the username and any biographical details inferred from contributions, user page etc: it's quite easy to rename oneself not to reveal any association with ones subject matter. However, note that there are tools that can associate a user's login with an IP address and therefore an organisation, meaning that spammers can be found in the most egregious cases. There is a general policy on usernames that you might like to read. Wikipedia does not have a staff to provide online support, but you could ask editors that seem to know about your subject to comment on the page as you develop it. Good luck!
