Anandathirumurugan
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to your user page (User:Anandathirumurugan), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy).
Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Speedy deletion nomination of Methode Electronics
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Methode Electronics, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Wayne Jayes 14:35, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

editMethode Electronics
editThe main problem with Methode Electronics is that it has no sources cited on the page. See Help:Referencing for beginners for assistance. Per your comments on the article's talkpage, sources other than ones written by the company are a real good idea as their own web pages tend to be a bit biased. If you cant find any sources other than those, then the company may not be Notable enough for a WP page--220 of Borg 05:37, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the tips, I will work on it and I will improve this page as per the Wiki Standards.

- It would have been better to work on the copy in your userspace, here: User:Anandathirumurugan/Methode Electronics, as that is why it was moved there, before moving it back into Article space in a substandard state. :-/ --220 of Borg 06:09, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- Another alternative would be to move it to Draft:Methode Electronics, (See wp:Drafts) but it's out there now, so I suppose it will exist, or be deleted on it's merits. From what I have read in a short time it seems Methode is a major manufacturer of electrical connectors, especially supplying the major US automotive manufacturers. Keep the idea of a draft in mind next time you want to create a page. Or Articles for creation. --220 of Borg 06:22, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Edit summaries
editHi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. --220 of Borg 06:09, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Signing
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --220 of Borg 06:09, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks again for your tips, I will follow then to make the page more perfect.
