I recently had my edit taken off of "Christianity and Paganism". It appears that someone decided that one small event was enough to take my edit off. Is this true? Who is the person that did this? Thank you for your response. Anathasius (talk) 16:21, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello

edit

I see that you have a huge amount of zeal for the Catholic Church. Come, my fellow Christian, and let us bask in each others' faith. I am an Eastern Catholic, of the Chaldean Catholic Church. I recognize the Pope, Benedict XVI as the supreme head of the Christian Church, as our Lord Jesus Christ declared to Peter, "Thou art a Rock, and on this rock I shall build my assembly"...

If you wish to talk with me and discuss our faith, you are more than welcome to leave a comment. God bless you and strengthen the faith in you. Gabr-el 05:39, 13 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I removed your text because clearly you based your opinion on your prejudices...you had laid your personal claims against mithraism as a precursor to christianity as encyclopaedic fact, the articles i removed were clearly your opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.26.91.74 (talk) 22:32, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Abortion

edit

The edit you made to Abortion was clearly deemed to be POV pushing, and not WP:NPOV. I suggest, seeing you feel strongly about this, to review WP:TRUTH and WP:NPOV prior to making further edits to this article. Thanks for registering, and look forward to your valuable contributions here. Cheers! Paranormal Skeptic (talk) 00:16, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to Abortion, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SHEFFIELDSTEELTALK 01:00, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Neutral Point of View

edit

Hi Anathasius, I see you've been having some trouble editing, and I'm afraid you may have misunderstood how things work around here. First and foremost, at Wikipedia we do our best to write for a neutral point of view. Wikipedia is descriptive, not prescriptive, we report back what people have said, we do not try to write what is true in some grander sense, but little truths. Thus, we do our best to avoid editorializing, soap boxing, or otherwise sharing our own opinions about anything, such as say... abortion, or Catholicism. It doesn't matter if we're Right, it matters whether it is relevant, verifiable, and neutral. I highly recommend you review the Wikipedia policies link on this page above, or you may find yourself blocked if you continue to edit in an unconstructive way--Tznkai (talk) 11:20, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
