Hello! I am just starting out on Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}}
before the question.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 05:21, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

Heads Up
editHello! I just wanted to let you know that the message you left at User talk:ClueBot Commons is the talk page of one of the approved bots that fuction on Wikipedia. Most users with 'bot' in their name are actually just bot programs rather than a human user (although there are a couple of exceptions but normally they will put up a disclaimer). If you want someone to help lookover your work in your sandbox, you can ask one of the kind people at the Teahouse, which User:Pharaoh of the Wizards mentions above. Happy editing, SassyLilNugget (talk) 15:13, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
Feedback
editHey Andrea. Good start on this article. I think you mean "Habitat" rather than "Habitation", right? Otherwise your proposed structure looks fine. As you work on expanding the article, you'll want more sources, and of a better quality than this one. Nikkimaria (talk) 02:53, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
