Proposed deletion of Nicholas Atkin

edit

The article Nicholas Atkin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of satisfying Wikipedia:Notability (academics).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Simon Kitson. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. – Zntrip 07:12, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I was not vandalising the pages. You need a system that flashes up your warning messages so that contributors know they are being warned about something. I did not realise I was being told off about something so made the same edit twice. Just inexperience on my part and the lack of visibility of your warning systems. Sorry.

Also I had nothing to do with the creation of the 'Simon Kitson' entry as suggested above- I just made a change to the entry- many other contributors had already added information about that historian.
