Quotes on Adam Weishaupt

edit

My removal of the "quote" sections is not merely about removing overlap with wikiquote. Some of the quotations were presented in a distorted manner, for example claiming that Weishaupt wrote about the future state of man rather than the early state. Aside from that, the discussion of his views that was mixed together with the quotes was a kind of essay that didn't refer to sources. 24.22.217.162 (talk) 03:07, 15 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for your comments. I don't think I distorted Weishaupt's views: he did speak of the future state of man - a state of regained freedom and harmony with nature. Also, I don't think I inserted unreferenced material into my introductory comments to some of the Weishaupt quotes: I think the ideas will all be found on the pages of his book that I reference. I think we should see what other editors think about your recent major changes to the article, which strike me as too extreme. Good wishes to you in any case.
