Proposed deletion of GoAnimate The Movie

edit

The article GoAnimate The Movie has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a single source to support this article and the templates are messed up

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Hello, I'm GeorgeBarnick. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Pac-Man World Rally, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. George BarnickTalk/Contribs 03:31, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fred (film series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tom Arnold (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edits to List of programs broadcast by Nickelodeon did not have any edit summaries. The use of clear edit summaries can help other editors understand the rationale for your edits, which will save you a lot of hassle and extra work down the road; major changes to an article without using edit summaries can often look like disruptive editing to other users.

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:14, 19 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Where is the date found?

edit

Hi, regarding this edit, I don't see any mention of August 18 date in the promo. Am I missing something, or are you fabricating information? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:13, 2 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Summarizing critical response

edit

Hi, though you obviously meant well when you made this edit, consensus at WikiProject Film is that we not summarize critical response in this way. We have review aggregators like Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic to do the summarizing for us, and it is preferred that their evaluations be presented directly as data without our personal interpretations. For more info, see Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Film/Archive 10#"generally mixed", although there are numerous other versions of this same conversation. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:59, 28 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Amiibo edit reverted

edit

I'm sorry, but there were several problems with that edit:

  1. This is the English Wikipedia, not the American Wikipedia. Your edit summary implied a bias.
  2. Nintendo is a Japanese company, so obviously the release dates for its own products in its home country is notably important.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jeff Kinney (writer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days.   Hello, I'm Figureskatingfan. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Blue's Clues, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Lego The Lord of the Rings (video game), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Maybe you're thinking that you're helping, but you're not. Pointing out that certain games were the last of a franchise released for a particular platform isn't notable or informative, that's just too much. Besides, have you thought of all the platforms and series out there? Tomb Raider games have appeared on PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Windows, MS-DOS, Mac OS, N-Gage, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Dreamcast, PSP, GBA, DS, Java ME, iOS, Android, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. By your logic, we should add to each of these "X was the last game to be released on Y". And this is just Tomb Raider. There's Final Fantasy, Super Mario or any long-running sports game, like FIFA or NBA. It just isn't noteworthy to point that out. And besides, the reader can always find that out for themselves if they want to know. --Soetermans. T / C 10:31, 3 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
