May 2021: Wikipedia is not for promotion

Adding my name to the list of notable users of Jackson guitars is not promotional. It is a legitimate entry on a list of musicians who are noted for using Jackson guitars. If in fact I need an article about me on Wikipedia to qualify to get on the list, how can I arrange for this? Please advise. Thanks again. Typically, notable people are written about on Wikipedia by people unconnected to them who happen to think they are notable. If they are in fact notable, and this is demonstrated by the reliable, published, independent sources which are cited in the article, then Wikipedia is likely to accept the article. See Your first article, and read any blue-linked material it may contain, so you understand the process. It's not forbidden to write about yourself, but it rarely succeeds, given that objectivity can be hard to attain in an autobiography.--Quisqualis (talk) 02:31, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

  I happened to see (somewhere else) your discussion with another editor on this very same topic, and didn't realize it wasn't current; my apologies. That you don't care what other editors think, "mate", is precisely why you're blocked. You might want to consider the following bit of wisdom:
