An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Audi Q8, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Quattro (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Village Pump

About your concern of my photographing skill and I'm all down to constructive criticism, but saying "I would recommend the participant to study courses on how to properly photograph. And I suggest using the bot to replace the images with more appropriate ones" is rather insulting per say. I have been beginning to be less forceful when inserting photos taken by me and trying to work alongside another user who has been doing the same. I been practising photographing since 2016 and have been trying to get cues from past photographers when it comes to cars. Such as M 93, Rudolf Stricker, IFCAR, and even Charles01 which despite having a few unpleasant collision, he was one of my main inspiration of what I'm doing to this day. I massively upload yes, it what I do, but like what the others said on there, you don't need to be a top-notch photographer to participating in the Commons. Although sorta hypocritical myself since the impression I been inevitably giving in the past week isn't any better. Comments like you did there would deter any newfound photographers who might be interested in doing what I'm doing. Just keep that in mind. --Vauxford (talk) 22:46, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Dear Vauxford, you should understand that you should use the best photos for posting images in articles. The articles have already used good photos of other participants, and you massively replace their photos with your own. Think of other members and quality. I myself practice photographing cars from 2012 and am a professional photographer in the "Google local guide".--Anton V. (talk) 08:00, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
So what? I might not be the best but I take good enough photos that people are happy with, even without my intervention and if they aren't happy with them I discuss. With your condescending attitude you had in the village pump, there won't be anyone participating in the Commons because you expect the top notch, professional grade photographers to be on there, doesn't work like that I'm afraid. --Vauxford (talk) 10:41, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • You have good photos, and other participants upload photos of different quality, try to upload photos that are not enough, and do not replace those that are already used, especially if the photos are of professional quality. If you want to improve your level of photographer, I can offer you to take part in the Google Local Guides.--Anton V. (talk) 12:09, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
P.S.: You have the most successful of the categories of photos at the moment, the most suitable for placement in articles.

Example Among these categories, your photos are most suitable for use.

Therefore, consider this not as an insult but as a remark.--Anton V. (talk) 14:51, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

WP:VP/Technical

edit

Hi Anton, I've removed your thread over at WP:VP/T as it related nothing to that page,
The Technical page is used to report various errors/bugs on the site and obviously your report wasn't bug-reporting,

If you have an issue with an editor then please take your concerns to WP:ANI and not every random notieboard on the site,
Many thanks, –Davey2010Talk 21:53, 26 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
