Blocked for sockpuppetry
editAphoristofold (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
This is the only account I have ever created on Wikipedia and I do not know why I was blocked for "sock-puppetry" without any evidence. I hereby request my account be unblocked. When I saw the recent changes to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K._P._Yohannan (an individual who I am quite familiar with); I questioned the objectiveness of the article as well as the quality of the sources. I also made mention of a recent High Court order regarding the individual. I only challenged suspect sources and presented new evidence. I did not state a personal opinion. (I can provide the full text if that would be helpful)
Decline reason:
this is a checkuser block, with adequate evidence.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:11, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing for sock puppetry per evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Aphoristofold. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not. If you believe that this block was in error, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 02:34, 25 April 2013 (UTC) |
