Help me!

edit

Please help me with... When i created my account, it gave me a popup box that said edit a suggested article. I refused the box not knowing what it was. research told me later it was necessary for autoconfirmed status. please show me the dialog box again if possible, or how to go about it myself. Thanks. Autoconfirmed status occurs automatically when your account is more than 4 days old and has performed more than 10 edits. You can find suggestions on articles to edit in a number of places; one is the WP:Community Portal. The dialog box you dismissed is not necessary.
Oh, and in future, don't ask your question in more than one place. Pick one and ask there. Only if there's no response after a suitable period (perhaps 24-48 hours - we're all volunteers after all) should you try somewhere different. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 07:00, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Help me!

edit

Please help me with... Hi. I'm a newcomer and did my first editing. I put the in-use template (that says the article is undergoing a major edit) by watching a youtube video. I have published changes but do not know how to remove the notification box. This is the link, please guide. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolt_(film) Aprism (talk) 18:34, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

According to this edit, you figured it out. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 19:20, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I added the in use template wrong. Had to do the process all over. I did not make any changes to the text till your replied right away. I'm going to do that now, or maybe change the article. Thanks. Aprism (talk) 07:18, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hey, Aprism! You don't have to insert the in use template. That's generally only used when editing for an extended period of time, or when you're getting too many edit conflicts. I don't think I've ever actually needed to insert that template. If you've just got one small edit to make, just click edit, make the edit, add the edit summary, publish changes. —valereee (talk) 12:20, 10 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
