Aptut
A tag has been placed on Acem School of Meditation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eeekster (talk) 01:02, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Acem School of Meditation, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 01:04, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Acem School of Meditation
editA tag has been placed on Acem School of Meditation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. JCutter (talk) 01:09, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Hi. Well, the best way to begin is to review the manual of style. In short, when you write an article, it has to be done in a really dry and scholarly tone. Think "Encyclopedia Brittanica" and you have a pretty good idea. Take a look at some of the good articles and featured articles as well. Try and emulate that style. To prevent misunderstandings like this when you're creating an article, you can always do one on a user subpage. This gives you time to work on it online without fear of deletion:
User:Aptut/Acem School of Meditation
I've replaced the latest version of the text within the subpage which you are free to work upon at your leisure. Thanks for asking and I hope this has been helpful. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:10, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
