editThis is your last and only warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Curcuminoid. - Happysailor (Talk) 09:36, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- DQ (t) (e) 11:39, 9 June 2011 (UTC)- Describing your edit as "vandalism" is no doubt a mistake, though an understandable one. However, speedy deletion because the author has blanked the page applies only when nobody else has made significant edits to the page, which was not so in this case. Although you created the article originally, you do not own it, and you do not have the right to remove the work of all the other editors who have contributed to it. However, since this was probably a case of not being sufficiently aware of the relevant guideline, rather than intentional vandalism, I will consult the blocking administrator about whether to lift the block. - I have looked things over again, and have unblocked you per the above. A read of the G7 Criterion might not hurt things. -- DQ (t) (e) 12:02, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
- As a point of clarification (not sure it is related to the attempt to blank/delete the page), the images are up for deletion because their style and format is poor and better ones are available (unused low quality file, higher quality ones used in article), not because there is a problem with the chemicals or the article about them.
