Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! How to contribute

edit

Thanks for your interest in improving Jewcy.

With rare exceptions we like to have discussions on wiki. You did send me an email but I prefer to discuss issues here.

One of the important pillars of Wikipedia Wikipedia:Five pillars is the second one "Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view".

That means we have to be very careful when someone with a conflict of interest wishes to help. Your email indicated that the edits were made by "my company" which I interpret to mean the company associated with the organization.

We recognize that individuals associated with an organization are in a unique position to have special knowledge of the organization, so we want to encourage contributions but we want to do so very carefully, because we do not want articles about organizations written by the organization.

I'll also note that we highly discourage group accounts — anyone associated with the organization is free to edit but they should use a personal login and not share it with anyone.

More information on conflicts of interest can be found at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest but I'll summarize one of the Key points relevant to the situation: The best way to improve an article in which you have a conflict of interest is to use the {{request edit}} template or by posting a note at the COI noticeboard

Let me know if you need further information. S Philbrick(Talk) 14:43, 19 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
