Articles for deletion nomination of Red Book (Jung)

edit

I have nominated Red Book (Jung), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Red Book (Jung). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. RadioFan (talk) 11:31, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

A question and a wish

edit

As a reader of Borges, I wonder if you have ever read any of Schopenhauer's works? That was my question. My wish is that RadioFan will fail in his or her attempt to delete the Red Book article. It looks like an interesting article and it is a good start. Other Wikipedia contributors who are interested in the topic will probably be glad to expand the article.Lestrade (talk) 18:04, 3 July 2009 (UTC)LestradeReply

Hello Lestrade, First of all I would like to thank you for your care and message. Sure I know (fairly) about Schopenhauer but I didn't read his book yet. You will find alot of Takfiri books here in Egypt sold practically everywhere but you will not find Schopenhauer's book, the vendor won't know who the guy is and if he somehow does, he wouldn't think highly of you. Still i defy this stupid sensorship (which is supported by the people, not the government, and that's what makes it really sad) and buy used books from Amazon. I was about to order The world as will and representation and that's why i was very glad to recieve your message. I can buy only one volume so would you suggest I or II ? Radiofan has already withdrawn his request to delete the article after realizing it's notable. I have the link in my watch list so there is no need to worry.

Since you are into Borges, I thought you would like to read something that i wrote and perhaps (who knows) help me publish it. will you give me your email so that i can send the doc?

Best Wishes Arthur

If you want to read The World as Will and Representation, start with Volume I. Please be aware of the fact that it has had a strong effect on several people (Tolstoy, Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, and others of importance) and it may affect your life, especially if you are interested in Buddhism. Volume II is full of many important passages, so it is worth reading, but only after you have read Volume I. I would like to read your essay on Borges, but can you post an e-mail address here so that I can communicate with you outside of Wikipedia?Lestrade (talk) 01:19, 4 July 2009 (UTC)LestradeReply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:21, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Pazuzu Algarad moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Pazuzu Algarad, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
