Hello Tito Pao
editThis is my new username. I lost my previous upm password. I have recorded my new password so I am sure it will not get lost again. --Artvaldez 16:58, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- With regard to your password, I don't think it'll be likely that an admin will be able to assist you with retrieving it (in case you were unable to complete the "lost password" process), so you may want to stick to your new account for now. Anyway...just go ahead and make any necessary changes. I was planning to copyedit this article for some time, but since you're introducing new material from the latest news, I'll let you finish updating this article first. So go ahead and help yourself. --- Tito Pao 17:14, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Tito Pao, Thank you. --Artvaldez 11:08, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
suggestion on First News last paragraph entry
editThe attached paragraph seem to be not related to the topic of First News on Dale. What do you think?
Oracion and Emata was awarded Athletes of the year by the Philippine Sportswriter Association.[26]. Garduce on the hand was awarded Order of Lakandula [27]by Malacañang.
suggestion
editTito Pao, I suggest deleting the word, "proofs" as unnecessary on the Abenojar article since it has been established by the Himalayan DataBase his rightful place in Everest history. I also suggest correcting entries on the articles of Abenojar, Oracion, Emata and Garduce based on the official results of the Himalayan DataBase.--Artvaldez 04:59, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
edited entries to articles of Garduce, Emata, Oracion and Abenojar
editTito Pao, I have edited entries in the Everest climbers' articles based on official records presented hereto by The Himalayan DataBase and summit certificates of the climbers Abenojar and Oracion. I have also rearranged paragraphs, paraphrased sentences, updated facts and figures and expanded entries to their articles based on information given by several news bureaus and viewable official documents. I hope my small contribution to pertinent facts will make Wikipedia a more pleasant reference of up-to-date factual information on these personalities. --Artvaldez 06:59, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Dale's certificate compress.JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:Dale's certificate compress.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:08, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Tito pao, I am totally disoriented on how to properly tag this scanned photo of Abenojar's summit certificate provided by the Philstar newspaper and allowed by Mr. Abenojar to be posted in the abenojar article. It is agreed that the scanned photo is only for the use of Phil Daily Inquirer, Philstar and wikipedia. Other newspapers should ask permission from Mr. Abenojar by writing to him directly at daleabenojar@yahoo.com
Please help me to add the proper copyright tag. I am having a hard time understanding this process.--Artvaldez 05:36, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Copyright
editHi.
If you need help figuring out which tags and so on to add to your images, just see WP:COPYRIGHT. There are links there to ask questions if the information doesn't help you first off.
Also, just a quick heads-up for you. "OrphanBot", which tagged your image in the first place, isn't a physical human user. As the name suggests, it's a "bot", which does a menial task very rapidly (a lot faster than a human ever could), so it won't be able to help you with questions.
