lower case title.

edit

I've changed Du Bouëxic family so that it displays as "du Bouëxic family". If this is an example of what you want done, the {{lowercase title}} added at the top will work for both articles *and* for categories (there are a lot of "De" and "Du" beginnings in Category:French noble families). the lowercase title template can *theoretically* be placed anywhere in the article, but it is standard to place it prior to words that are actually visible when the page is viewed)

I don't know enough about French to gauge when it should be used, but will be happy to help.Naraht (talk) 18:56, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

categories.

edit

I added a colon before the word category on your userpage. That will make it show. Otherwise, it acts the same way as it would in an article and places User:Arx76 into the category. That's not allowed, categories with both mainspace articles and either User or Draft articles are considered "Polluted").Naraht (talk) 19:21, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Arx76: Please stop your unacceptable and offensive behavior towards me

edit

@Arx76, please be respectful of Wikipedia:Assume good faith and be civil rather than attacking other editors. You wrote "DeValenc" who is for certain a new sockpuppet of the banned user "Belyny". Accusing someone of sockpuppetry without any proof but simply to delete some information given by published and reliable sources as you did [1] is a violation of policies. Am I a banned editor? No. Am I a blocked editor? No. Am I responsible for vandalism on Wikipedia? No. Am I responsible for violating Wikipedia's rules? No. Do I use a proxy or VPN? No. So I ask you to stop your unacceptable and offensive behavior towards me. Otherwise I would be obliged to request a sanction against you. --DeValenc (talk) 16:18, 10 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
