Reply to the false accusations of "Edit War"
editI contend my acts were not edit warring since the AfD states that the page cannot be blanked once a discussion is ongoing, so unblanking the page was not merely permitted, but was positively obligatory. Furthermore, I only opened this account at the direction of the other editor, who stated that he would accept the article on the Covfefe act if I changed my name to one without COVFEFE in the name. - My (unstated) assumption was that a different person would create the article, or at least support its creation. Power~enwiki (talk) 22:41, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- Isn't it an Ad hominem fallacy to delete an article based on its creator? Comment on content, not contributors, please. Is this not the Highest Law of Wikipedia? It appears not. As you wish (talk) 22:42, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- It is academic at this point, since this account has been indefinitely blocked. Have a pleasant day. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Welfare State ‖ 22:45, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- You have still failed to provide a non Ad hominem argument as to why the article should not exist. Auf wiedersehn, friend. As you wish (talk) 22:46, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- I've discussed this briefly on Talk:COVFEFE Act in case anyone is genuinely interested in a discussion. Power~enwiki (talk) 22:50, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
