A tag has been placed on ShiraPlayer (planetarium software) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion".   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from ShiraPlayer (planetarium software), a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page.   Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Planetarium. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Request reason:

I've never had a problem with Wikipedia until today. My entries in the Turkish Wikipedia site in 2016 have remained unchanged until today. However, the entries that I made at that time last night and that other users have made so far have been deleted in one go. This page is https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Planetarium&stable=1 This page provided information about the Planetarium, as well as the list of established planetariums in Turkey and the list of planetarium service manufacturers. However, these lists were deleted the other day. I accepted it. However, I have added my company's work on the planetarium to the last paragraph in the "History" section. Removed due to "lack of information resources". I added the source. This time, another user removed it on the pretext that it contains ads. My firm is a software company and the paragraph talks about my collaborative work with the Japanese. I objected, and if so, I asked why there are other manufacturers. And my change is not accepted yet. Likewise, I added a paragraph in English to the English Wikipedia page. However, the user named "MrOllie" said it contained advertisements and deleted the previous two paragraphs along with the paragraph I added. I took back what I wrote by objecting again and again and they banned me. Please review all registration activity. The previous two paragraphs include the companies "Microsoft", "Go-dome" and "Sega". However, these paragraphs have been around since the 2010s. But deleting them is not enough. Why are the names of the manufacturers "Evans & Sutherlands", "Zeiss", "Goto" and "Minolta" still on the site? At the same time, isn't that a double standard? This user (MrOllie) could have sympathized with me and at least edited my paragraph instead of deleting it. I think you will give me the right. Asafyurdakul (talk) 20:25, 11 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

The text you added definitely reads as advertorial, including link to the company site rather than to a reliable secondary source as is required. you also say, in your appeal "My firm is a software company and the paragraph talks about my collaborative work with the Japanese.". This means your edits were made in violation of both our paid editing disclosure rules and our rules about not making direct edits as a paid editor. Request reason:

Please answer another question

Ok, Nosebagbear, I assume I understand these. Please also answer another questin in my objection. "Why are the names of the manufacturers "Evans & Sutherlands", "Zeiss", "Goto" and "Minolta" still on the site? At the same time, isn't that a double standard?" And also another question in my objection

Why deleted previous two paragraphs "Deleted the previous two paragraphs along with the paragraph I added. The previous two paragraphs include the companies "Microsoft", "Go-dome" and "Sega". However, these paragraphs have been around since the 2010s."

This is not an unblock request. While blocked you only have access to this page to request to be unblocked, that's all you should be concerned with right now. 331dot (talk) 14:38, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I will answer you in that not every company in a field merits a Wikipedia article, it depends on the coverage in independent reliable sources. This is not a directory where mere existence merits inclusion; Wikipedia is an encyclopedia with criteria to meet for inclusion. We call that notability. 331dot (talk) 14:38, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
