Proposed deletion of Unicode Versions

edit

Hello, AshtonTameirao

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Edward-Woodrow, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Unicode Versions, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Edward-Woodrow}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

(Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Unicode Versions moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Unicode Versions (duplicate). Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources and it needs more sources to establish notability. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 12:48, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of History of unicode

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on History of unicode requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Page moves

edit

Hello, AshtonTameirao,

I'm not sure what's going on with your article but please stop moving it around. It's very confusing and disruptive. And having a page with lots of redirects from page moves makes it less likely that an article will be retained. You should only need to move an article from Draft space to main space or the opposite. If you have questions, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:45, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
