Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! editHello, I'm Kautilya3. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Burhan Wani seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 11:49, 2 March 2018 (UTC)
- If you will do some homework you will come to know that word 'terrorist' is not either neutral. -- Asrar Rasheed 13:04, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- I don't recall now what this warning was for, but I am certain that it was not about the use of 'terrorist'. I agree that Burhan Wani cannot be labelled terrorist. In any case, welcome again. Happy editing! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 10:57, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- Thankyou :) Zeus 13:46, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
Hi. I am asking people related to the Wiki Project: Jammu and Kashmir or related to Kashmir in anyway for help related to improving the Wikipedia page Sports in Jammu and Kashmir. The aim is to make it a good article, and also rated as a Good Quality article ( GA) or higher ( FA). Images are also needed as well. LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT COLLABORATIVE EFFORT!!! Happy Editing. :) DiplomatTesterMan (talk) 15:57, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

editPlease do not make edits like this in order to make a WP:POINT. If you want to dispute a revert, the place to do so is on the article's talk page. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 22:53, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- There is no change when we present the issue on talk page, it's simple if there can be a list of human rights abuses by militants in the article then why the list of human rights abuses by Indian army is inappropriate in a same article. I am a Kashmiri I know the reality more than any other editor. This is a biased system. Zeusades 10:26, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
- This page is on the insurgency. There is a separate page on the human rights abuses, and it is summarised in this article. We do try to create WP:BALANCE when necessary, but not by altering the subjects that the articles are meant for.
- If you want to propose changes, you need to generate WP:CONSENSUS on the article talk page. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 12:39, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
ARBIPA sanctions alert
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
