(chinesemedicinetimes.com | search current) Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. Femto 20:14, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re your e-mail: You apparently haven't even read the WP:SPAM link above and readded the same links at acupuncture, and more links at other pages. See WP:EL and WP:SPAM about Wikipedia's external links policies. The primary purpose of this site is to promote and sell itself and other products.
Chinesemedicinetimes.com is registered to Attilio D'Alberto, which makes your links blatant self-promotion. Do not add links to your own site without establishing consensus on the article talk pages first. Femto 12:10, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Chinese Medicine Times

edit

A tag has been placed on Chinese Medicine Times requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for spamming or advertising. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

Chinese Medicine Times has been repeatedly used as a reference for various pages within Wikipedia. I therefore added a page for users to better understand where these references are coming come. I would like you to be made aware of a similar page that the Chinese Medicine Times page was based on: American Journal of Chinese Medicine. This is an orphan page, and no references exist in Wikipedia that link to it. However, this page remains and hasn't been deleted. Deleting Chinese Medicine Times, even though several quotes have been used from its website is unfair. Either reinstate the page Chinese Medicine Times or remove the various references page to the site within your pages.

Decline reason:

You have made no attempt whatever to address the reason for your block, which was that 'your account is being used only for spamming or advertising' Commenting on other issues, such as another article which you think is similar to one you wrote, is irrelevant. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

You are hereby instructed to remove all quotes and references taken from my website within your pages. If you do not remove the quotes, it will violate copyright laws and further action will be taken against you.

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information.  —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 20:40, 27 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am not requesting to be unblocked. I am using this code to direct a formal request to you. I have requested that you remove references and quotes taken from my website immediately. It is in violation of my copyright. I also request that you provide a postal address for legal papers to be sent to you. If you allow the page i created, i will not press legal action.

Decline reason:

We do not put up with legal threats. Since you are not making constructive requests for unblocking, I'll remove your talk page access. Favonian (talk) 22:05, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
