Hi, once you have created an article, you should try to mention it on other pertinent pages, so that readers of those articles can come look at your new page. I have linked Northwest Hills on a number of other Wikipedia pages for you. Yoninah (talk) 19:08, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Yoninah: Thank you, I'll be more careful. I'm done with that section because I didn't want to go into more detail about the fossils. From my understanding, the Glen Rose Limestone is on the southwestern part of Northwest Hills. The source mentions that it goes from Northland Drive to Georgetown, Texas. Northland Drive intersects with RR 2222, one of Northwest Hills' boundaries on the south. It also mentions that Glen Rose can be studied between Mount Bonnell and Westover Hills (neighborhood north of Northwest Hills), which means Glen Rose crosses Northwest Hills. The Walnut Formation is in Mount Barker (in Northwest Hills too), as mentioned in the source. Most of Bull Creek is technically in Northwest Hills because it falls on the right side of Loop 360, see here. Austin-geo (talk) 19:58, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
If these formations are so important, you should write separate articles about them and put all the details there. Then you can just mention those articles in Northwest Hills. Yoninah (talk) 20:03, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Did you really just start editing Wikipedia last week, in order to write this article about your hometown? Then I thank you for taking my backseat driving in good humor. I've been working on the DYK project for many years with the goal of bringing high-quality articles to the main page. You've certainly done an amazing job with this one. You might want to apply for good article status after you're done. In future, if you have any questions about the ins and outs of writing for Wikipedia, I'm happy to answer on my talk page. I'm just letting you know, without making a formal template message, that your history of not assuming good faith - and that includes your edit summaries when removing official cautions, could affect your editing privileges. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:48, 10 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Kudpung – Then should post the template on Smallbones' talkpage too. He threw the first punch by stating at DYK that my work looked like paid editing (and did not assumed good faith). He/she should have looked at the article's talkpage before making a reckless claim. I was providing my reasoning for the real estate sources I was using there. DYK for Northwest Hills, Austin, Texas

On 3 November 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Northwest Hills, Austin, Texas, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Northwest Hills neighborhood of Austin, Texas, includes a 40-acre complex founded by the chief executive officer of Dell, housing Jewish community centers, synagogues, and schools? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Northwest Hills, Austin, Texas), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
