Reliable sources

edit

Hi there, if you plan to edit at Wikipedia, you should probably familiarise yourself with our guidelines on reliable sources, and specifically our guidelines on the inclusion of user-generated sources like blogs. Since anyone can create a blog, anyone can print whatever they want with no regard for accuracy. We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say about anything. This would mean major news sites that people have heard of. Most of your recent additions[1][2][3][4][5] have used blogs like indiacinemadiary.com and indianjobs4u.com as references, which would be unsuitable. I also notice that both of these sites are virtually identical, which makes this look an awful lot like attempts to spam Wikipedia. If that's not your goal, please only add reputable sources from here on out. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:50, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion, as you did at Pulimurugan. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:12, 13 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
