Abhishek Verma
editPlease note that while an article about Abhishek Verma the businessman may be an appropriate addition to Wikipedia, it will have to be located at a new disambiguated title — you may not simply hijack and overwrite the existing article about a different Abhishek Verma. Your edits have been moved to the new page Abhishek Verma (businessman), while the original article has been returned to its prior topic. Bearcat (talk) 20:02, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Please do read the message above and leave alone the article on Abhishek Verma (archer). Materialscientist (talk) 03:26, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Firstly, you're incorrect about the timetable involved — at its original creation, the article was always about the archer. And secondly, a person's age has nothing to do with the question of who should get the plain title and who has to be disambiguated: that decision is made on the basis of which one has a stronger claim to being primary topic for that name, not which one is older or younger than which other one. There may be a case to be made that the businessman should be considered primary topic instead of the archer, but their ages don't make that decision and you don't get to make that decision unilaterally either — you would have to propose it for discussion to determine a consensus one way or the other. Unblock request
editWhy should I be unblocked for pasting a weblink of the book for which I own the copyright? It is unfair.
- You copied and pasted text from the website to here Shrikant Verma
- You must paraphrase, never copy and paste

editI have just now emailed you my photo ID of the BAR ASSOCIATION ID and that of my Law Firm's senior partner on your email. Please check. "US" refers to the lawfirm and this is the way we write in India when addressing someone on behalf of an organization / lawfirm. regards Authorincharge
- Authorincharge: are you saying you are the legal representative of someone with a Wikipedia article? Brianhe (talk) 11:44, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yes so the second issue appears to be one of WP:COI. The articles have now been recreated here Shrikant Verma and Veena Verma (politician) by User:Anupmehra. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 11:53, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hmm.. It is just a co-incidence; I was working on Abhishek Verma and there I found two people who qualifies for inclusion; did an hour online research and finished the article. I noticed it has been deleted in past, just not that only yesterday. Anup [Talk] 12:11, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yah no worries. It was deleted due to copyright concerns. A fairly prominent family so no concerns about recreation by you. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 12:15, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- Just to add here: File:Abhishek_Verma_profile_picture_from_Twitter.JPG & Twitter profile apparently confirm the Authorincharge's COI status and answer what he/she meant by "us". Undisclosed paid editing. Anup [Talk] 12:25, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
- James the article in question i.e. on Shrikant Verma has been coincidentally been created by someone else having no connection with me. The misunderstanding over COI and copy and paste thus stands resolved. I see no reason why I should remain blocked any further. Request you to please unblock me. thanks, Authorincharge
