Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as List of songs in which the lyrics are exclusively nonsensical words) are considered nonsense. Deaths

How do you justify the existence of separate lists in Deaths in December 1996 and 1996#December_2? -- RHaworth 20:45, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Constantinople

edit

Thank you for your quick replies.

I'm afraid I have had to remove some of your additions to this page as the period covered by this article only goes up to the cities fall in 1453. Any people associated with the city after this date need to be added to the Istanbul article page. Thanks. Galloglass 19:13, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've noticed that. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I don't remember removing that category. If I did that, it was probably unintentionally. Probably someone else did it. One reason maybe that the article may already be in a subcategory of that category, so no need to duplicate. DenizTC 06:54, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Date linking

edit

Hello. I see that in some of your edits like the one to Giorgos Mouzakis, you are linking dates that have no relevance to the topic and this should not be done. Please have a look at MOS:UNLINKDATES for information on date linking. Thanks. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 13:44, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your helpful comment. I'll keep that in mind. Avacalop (talk) 13:45, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now

edit

Sorry to interrupt however the last edit with reference to youtube only, I guessing this would be removed by other, unless there is another reliable source WP:RS that have (if I'm not wrong) one of the example, eg enough coverage of this particular language covered version had a chart ranking or win an award, or that covered song is famous in a country (you can add newspaper/magazine reputable source, or directly official music company source (I saw WP:DISCOGS), see WP:COVERSONG & WP:NSONG (Reliable source in other languages are ok, WP:NOTENG) --- Cat12zu3 (talk) 10:20, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comment - you are absolutely right. I will add more references as per request. Avacalop (talk) 10:14, 21 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think you might need to have another read of WP:COVERSONG because some of your sources are not great.Doctorhawkes (talk) 02:51, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
