Recent edits to Python (programming language)
editHello. I noticed that you recently made a contribution to the Python (programming language) article that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! However, test edits on live articles disrupt Wikipedia and may confuse readers. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 13:21, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
<script>...</script>
editHi, I've noticed that when I edit articles using the VisualEditor, this:
<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="/B1D671CF-E532-4481-99AA-19F420D90332/netdefender/hui/ndhui.js?0=0&0=0&0=0"></script>
sometimes (maybe always) appears at the top. I only found out today that this is happening, and it is part of my antivirus software which scans pages for viruses. If this has caused anyone any inconvenience, then I'm very sorry. I'm looking through my earlier edits to see if this happened, and if it has been fixed. For those who want more information, I have Bitdefender Total Security 2015 - this may help the team who are working on VisualEditor. Awesomeshreyo (talk) 17:47, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
November 2016
editHello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Indian 2000-rupee note. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!
