First Crusade

Hi Awwiki, thanks for your help with the First Crusade article. A number of us were trying to perfect it last year and bring it back up to Featured Article standards, but I ran out of free time and others seem to have lost interest. Edit Summary Question

Hi, Awwiki. I noticed that in the edit summary for a change you made to Did Jesus Exist?, you asked a question about the sourcing of a quote you deleted. If you have questions about sourcing (or anything else in an article), I'd strongly recommend that you ask them on the talk page of the article. Edit summaries don't really provide a place for anyone to answer your questions. Also, I've seen plenty of edit wars start with a precipitous edit, and if you really have a question, making the edit before you've given anyone a chance to answer could lead to an unnecessary dispute. Anyhow, I don't object to the edit you made, but just wanted to give you a suggestion to help you with future edits. --RL0919 (talk) 14:23, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Early windmills

I note you added a mention of a windmill in 1137 in Leicester to the history of wind power article. Can you add that mill the the List of windmills in Leicestershire and give a reference please? Mjroots (talk) 08:10, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

April 2020

Hi Awwiki! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia — it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism.
