Wemyss Bay

Thanks for your good faith edit to Wemyss Bay, however "frith" is an old spelling which appears in old books, is in a quotation, and is correctly shown in the cited source, so I've undone your change. . dave souza, talk 20:36, 8 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, Dave. Apologies for that. I was aware it was a quotation, but wasn’t aware of the variant spelling (as ‘firth’ is used almost exclusively now). I wonder if you feel it would be appropriate to add a ‘[sic]’ to the quoted text to assure readers that this is intentional (and prevent misguided people like me from changing it again!)?
