Hi Az-seller
I recently noticed that you have been making amendments to the wikipedia page for the company I work for, IG Group. I’m concerned about the amendments regarding “Unfair Business Practices” and “Foreign Exchange Trading Issues”, which are accompanied by no citations or factual evidence. This, sadly, is libel. We, like all other financial services providers are under close scrutiny from the FSA, so if they were true I would expect a citation from the FSA to accompany the claims you are making.
I don’t think the link you uploaded, claiming to be customer reviews, bears inclusion on Wikipedia as it is skewed – it is a website for people unhappy with their Forex traders – called Forexbastards. Not exactly a resource for objective reviews of financial services companies!
I’m also worried about the fact you have changed IG Group’s website link to IGMarkets, which seems like an odd decision. Furthermore, the history of IG Group appears to have been deleted as well, for no apparent reason.
I’m worried because the Wikipedia page is meant to provide users, be it journalists or those interested in the company, with a factual and objective resource. I fear this has since been jeopardised. I would like to resolve this dispute and sort out a wikipedia page that satisfies all parties. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best
Oliver
