• syntax ambiguity in this sentence: Wilde uses this framework to broaden the scale of sexual identity from a simple binary continuum of “mono-sexual” to “bisexual”, and to establish similarities and relationships between these identities that do not alienate those without a single “fixed object” of attraction. - What is the referent for the phrase that begins with, "that?"
• Viewpoints like Wilde's?
• applied by whom?
• Would it be appropriate to articulate an underlying assumption of this theoretical project - that sexual fluidity is not a modern phenomenon, that instances are highly likely to have existed in much if not all of human history whether acknowledged or not?
• Is D.S. Neff's work an example? If so - transition phrases such as, "for example" really do mental grunt work for readers which makes your writing more accessible, facilitates uptake of both content and meaning.
• Don't know how to understand this phrase: and in later implications of equal merit in both male and female lovers - can you clarify?
• Is "exploits" a word that carries sensationalising connotations? If so, does the word eroticize in a way you would not wan to do?
• Similarly, does "dalliances" trivialize?
• In your last sentence - what is important about queer theory's movement according to the article you reference?
