This Article is a rewrite in progress begun March 2007 due to problems with the article Deborah Gibson as it then existed. - B.C.Schmerker 05:17, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

For the record of "Youngest Person to Write, Produce and Perform a Number-One Song on the Hot 100," Billboard Magazine used the release date of Atlantic Records single 89109 "Debbie GibsonFoolish Beat," which postdates actual production of the A-side used thereon by approximately one year. Who has a Source for the actual date(s) of production? B. C. Schmerker (talk) 16:52, 23 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

The current version of the Article Shake Your Love has the full Bill Hicks quote to which I refer in the corresponding section of this beta article, but no Source citation was made. The volume and episode of Sane Man, with year and distributor of publication, are still needed. B. C. Schmerker (talk) 08:56, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Additional questions

I am confused as to why the rewrite is here...if it is sourced and a better version than the current one then why not replace it? -RunningOnBrains 19:34, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the inquiry. This Peer Review is part of the process for replacement articles; the original article still on file (see Deborah Gibson) had several known issues at the time I began this process back in March. I still need sources to complete the reference data for this beta article before replacement is effected. - B.C.Schmerker 01:34, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

(For further information on the process described above see Wikipedia:Peer review.)

Rumor-mill issues

edit

I ran across mention of Gibson originally wanting George Michael of Wham! to produce "Foolish Beat." However, to my knowledge the available production window was not more than three weeks in the winter of 1987, given Atlantic Records' demand for a promotour to start, if memory serves me correctly, not later than mid-March 1987. What proof is there of any request for such a production; and, if so, when was it placed? - B. C. Schmerker (talk) 08:23, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Contingency Includes

edit
  • TV Appearance: 6 January 2008, Deal or No Deal, National Broadcasting Company.
  • Stage show: May 2008, Harrah's, Atlantic City, NJ.[1]
  • Music theatre camp, July 2008, Los Angeles area, CA.[2]

Do inform me of further notable additions. - B. C. Schmerker (talk) 07:01, 13 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
