editHello, BLT93, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. editHello, welcome, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. I'm going to suggest--not insist!--that you might want to discuss your edits to Marilyn Monroe on Talk:Marilyn Monroe, to avoid misunderstandings if for no other reason. It's a featured article, meaning that its present version is considered to be one of Wikipedia's best: well-sourced, competently arranged, and so forth. There are also likely to be many editors who are keeping an eye on it, since it combined featured-article status with a famous subject.
Having said that, don't let yourself be discouraged from contributing. NewEnglandYankee (talk) 23:07, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks NewEnglandYankee! BLT93, NEY brings up a good point - since the article is of such a high quality and is very closely watched, you should definitely bring up any changes on the talk page before doing any edits. ReaderofthePack (。◕‿◕。) 15:01, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
