Question

edit

Hello, BSturmanNSU;

I noticed your edits at Ceratonykus, and I remembered that we had some editors from NSU working on paleo articles last year for a class project. Is this related? If so, I'd like to know more about it, so I don't accidentally screw up someone's work at some point. For example, scientific names are written with italics, which are done by putting two apostrophes at the beginning and end of a word or phrase; I'd usually fix Ceratonykus to Ceratonykus, but I want to make sure I'm not altering something that a professor is supposed to see for grading. One thing that might be helpful for the class in general is if you could have your professor add the class project to Wikipedia:School and university projects. Thanks! J. I'd like to add that if this is for a class project, please thank your professor! Wikipedia projects are a fine way to simultaneously help both the education of one's own students and the general public. And thanks to you, too! Abyssal (talk) 00:24, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the reply. Is there a way for your professor to get in contact with Wikiproject Dinosaurs or Paleontology, or for someone here to get in contact with your professor? It would be nice to set up something formal, so the regular editors know when a class project is going on and what they can do to help, if necessary. J.
