its funny how those not familiar with the history of some people would like to tag references and citations as not adequate, without reading the pages of the books referenced. If Europeans source materials on African history is not considered independent what source could be. A simple search on the authors especially those with European origins can testify to their reliability. And I believe you did not research well on what was written before you make your decision if you do so. As for notability of the figure I callenge you to take or make any research of the jihad in Kano and then you see how notable the subject was. Baaballiyo (talk) 16:21, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
