Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Marlon alex james.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Oysterguitarist 15:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Mie.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Mie.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 19:10, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Samransak Kram

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Samransak Kram, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Saramsak Kram. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Your image uploads

edit

Hello. I have just taken a look through your upload log, and I am a little concerned about the images that you are uploading. The majority of them look like images that have been taken from other websites, and do not really look like the usual self-made images on Wikipedia. Are you sure that you took all of these pictures? Can I ask how you got access to press conferences and such? Also, how come you are uploading the images in such low resolution? J Milburn (talk) 19:23, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could you please get your friend to email the address given here and explain the situation? Explain who he is, that he understands his images are being uploaded, and that he gives his permission for the images to be released under free licenses? That way, there is evidence of the permission stored on the Wikimedia servers. J Milburn (talk) 21:05, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm severly concerned that you are still uploading these shots from different cameras with apparently no explanation forthcoming. It looks, rightly or wrongly, that you are taking many or all of your uploads from other sites without permission. Could you please explain this issue to me again so that it can be dealt with without needing to resort to mass deletion? If some of the images have been taken from elsewhere while others are your own, please explain that. Uploading images that you do not own the rights to and claiming them as your own is incredibly damaging to the encyclopedia. J Milburn (talk) 21:41, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Fadly.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Fadly.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:59, 4 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your image uploads, again

edit

I'm afraid I'm just not buying your "photographer friend" story, and the fact that you have continued to upload dubious works as your own, with no further mention of your friend, worries me. I have deleted the images that you have uploaded to Wikipedia. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and your apparent failure to do the same completely undermines the project. If you have an explanation, you're welcome to contact me on my talk page. If your photographer friend wishes to share his pictures, he can do so himself, or add a note to his own website, but your web resolution shots from a variety of cameras seem quite clearly to be taken from a variety of sources, which are not credited. Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Badrulville! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 9 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 695 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Proposed deletion of Muhammad Nazmi Baharom

edit

The article Muhammad Nazmi Baharom has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:V. No reliable sources found to document the existence of this footballer (web, news, books). Everything I see is largely wikimirrors or autogenerated sites, and maybe a personal blog or two.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. je deckertalk 01:51, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kedah United, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Supremo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
