Top 5 Articles

edit

1. Turnpike Troubadours -- This one doesn't have enough content to work with.

2. Friday Night Lights (season 1) -- Hesitant about this one: it looks mostly like a good show season article from what I can tell. Some of the content is a bit strange (the fictional game results) but the person who put that together comments about it particularly in the Talk page -- so you'd have to engage with it. Plus, if you changed the structure of the season 1, you'd likely need to do that in the others.

3. Houston -- Where there portions of this that you were thinking on working with and did you have reasons for selecting it? This is a well-trafficked and elaborate page.

4. Mike Evans (wide receiver) -- This one would work, I think. Lots of info here but it looks like it could be refined. If you do this go to a featured article for a single football player like Chris_Gragg as a model.

5. Blue cheese -- There is work to be done here, although I think it is primarily on the sentence level. However, as you dig more into what an appropriate article of this sort should look like I think that you'll find more to do. So let's go with it.

6. Freedom Writers - could this be a better article to work with?

Article Analysis

edit

Fashion week

People who visit the fashion week wikipage are probably people interested in fashion shows and designer labels. The audience most likely consists of people wanting to know more about the history of fashion weeks and more detailed information about what goes on in current fashion weeks. The purpose of this article is to explain what fashion week is and what it entails. The focus is on the four biggest fashion weeks: New York, London, Milan, and Paris. In order to make this a great article, the tone needs to be more encyclopedic, citations must be added, and organizational changes need to be made.

Blue cheese

The audience of the blue cheese article is likely a very wide range. Everyone from cheese connoisseurs, dairy farmers, and frequent cheese eaters probably visit this wikipage. The purpose of the blue cheese page is to provide specific details on the cheese’s physical and chemical properties, explain how it is made, and discuss its overall makeup. The article needs help with additional citations and some general page organization.
