Proposed deletion of IOC re-analysis programme
editThe article IOC re-analysis programme has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable programme. No evidence of in depth coverage in independent reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:22, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Sochi 2014
editHey! I'd like to talk about the 2014 Winter Olympics article. It seems that it has been attacked by users with some sort of agenda. Unfortunately, my account isn't auto-confirmed and I can't tackle it. Could you asses these edits: [1] and [2]. The second example depicts him considering proven doping cases to be "alleged". I also urge you to remove the information about the pre-Games controversies and really old assessments dated back to 2014.
This paragraph should be removed:
A total of 98 events in 15 winter sport disciplines were held during the Games. A number of new competitions—a total of 12 accounting for gender—were held during the Games, including biathlon mixed relay, women's ski jumping, mixed-team figure skating, mixed-team luge, half-pipe skiing, ski and snowboard slopestyle, and snowboard parallel slalom. The events were held around two clusters of new venues: an Olympic Park constructed in Sochi's Imeretinsky Valley on the coast of the Black Sea, with Fisht Olympic Stadium, and the Games' indoor venues located within walking distance, and snow events in the resort settlement of Krasnaya Polyana. The lead-up to these Games were marked by several major controversies, including major cost overruns alleged to have been the result of corruption (at a budget of US$51 billion, they were the most expensive Olympics in history), concerns for the safety of LGBT athletes and spectators due to recent government actions, protests by ethnic Circassian activists over use of a site where they believe a genocide took place in the 19th century, and threats by jihadist groups tied to the insurgency in the North Caucasus. However, immediately following the closing ceremony, commentators evaluated the Games to have been successful overall.[4][5] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Djdisiwk78 (talk • contribs) 14:51, 30 January 2018 (UTC)

editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from several articles to List of demolished buildings and structures in London (you have since removed the addition). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 17:47, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
