AfC notification: Draft:Andrea Benetti (artist) has a new comment

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, as follows Please rewrite to:

1. remove publicity photos

2. Say exactly what works are in the permanent collections of which museums sourced to the museum website or publication

3. remove minor museums and collections. Keep those known well enough to have articles in enWP.

4. Being presented to government bodies is not notability in the enWP. Remove them.

5. Keep only those refs that are true substantial 3rd party reliable published sources, not press releases or blogs or postings or mere notices .

Then notify me on my user talk page for assistance. He is probably notable, but the enWP has its own peculiar standards.

Ave et gratissimum:

Thank you for helping build one more Wikipedia project. I hope you find this a comfortable place to work. I noticed your inquiry at the talk page of DGG, a page on my watch list. i have great respect for DGG for his patience, breadth of knowledge, judgment, and teaching ability. And his passion for this project.

As you see above, my Latin only stretched to three words though I can still decline and conjugate a few words—two years of study sixty years ago though my mother studied Latin for six years. Latin was a great help in being accepted to university and in my work as a computer programmer (Latin is so explicit and fixed in format).

Italian have I none, but I have worked in Rome, Monte Cassino, and Naples while on television news assignments when Lech Walensa visited Pope John Paul II.

Again, thank you. — Neonorange (Phil) 06:39, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the nice words Neonorange,
I did only one year of Latin, in middle school (where once we studied, now not anymore) and I liked it too much! I felt like I was taking a dip in the past! DGG was extremely competent and good at explaining the improvements to be made to the article. For me now the voice is quite well done (it has been rated "Start-Class") https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea_Benetti_(artist) , but I would be happy if you have any advice for me to improve it even more. I wrote to DGG because he had put the template with i, but when he realized that I write for passion and not for money, he told me that he would remove it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:DGG#Interventions_on_the_draft_%22Andrea_Benetti_(artist)%22 but I think he forgot ... if you can do it, otherwise I'll wait for DGG to take it off.
Thanks again for your welcome and let me know what you think, --BarbaraLuciano13 (talk) 11:59, 26 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
