Nice work so far!
editHi! Sorry I've been out of contact for a while; I've had a hectic few weeks of travel. Anyhow, I was just taking a look at how you got started on retention election; nice work! It looks like you've got a good grasp of how to format things and how to cite your sources, and you've used what look like very solid sources. In terms of the history section, I hope to learn more about how the use of retention elections has expanded over the years, and the reasons for that, and how retention elections differ (both in terms of procedure and in terms of the politics surrounding them) from the alternatives, like the partisan judicial elections that they have some places. And I'm sure you're starting to get a handle on what you're going to do with the article; if you need any advice or help, please let me know. Response to your Peer Review
editHey thanks for the great feedback! I am currently working on adding some of the things you mentioned. The only reason the section on Juvenile systems is up is because that is all I have been able to find so far, but I have a good number of links that may be helpful in other areas. I like the idea of enforcement, as a matter of fact, Cindy mentioned the same thing and to also list some cases that may be relevant to CRIPA being enforced. Thanks again, and if you have time while your not working on your page or other homework, take a look at my page and give me some more feedback! I will do the same with yours! Thanks again!! citing a constitution
editHi! You came to IRC asking how to cite the California constitution. I was looking for form ready-made for citing laws, but I think we don't have one. So the best way to go is to use {{citation}}. Fill out any of the parameters you think are relevant. If you figure out what you basically want the reference to look like--what the important information is for readers trying to look up the reference--then I can help you figure out how to make that happen. Cheers--ragesoss (WMF) (talk) 19:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
it's coming along
editHi Barkerel! It looks like you made some good progress on Retention election since last I checked. Nice! I left a quick suggestion on the article talk page. If there's anything else you'd like help with or advice on, just ask. --Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 18:16, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
