I understand your concerns, and admit that I did have an LLM fill in information to an article template I made by hand. I was not aware of the limitation on text written by them being total, I thought it was more general. I thought the concerns were pedantic at first but after looking at references for beginners, i feel silly for using AI for formatting references, I just never saw that reftoolbar in the editor somehow. But in all of your critiques you were correct. In my defense, I did check all references, filled in demographics, population, and the legislative district infographics by hand. Though the articles marked were as you say, I see no further recourse for editing them to remove any 'AI-ness' and if I were to rewrite them by hand, I would not change anything as they are simple data. I thoroughly checked them, cited proper sources and placed in the data, by hand in some instances, and not in others, the only trace showing which is which being the ``` wikitext formatting. Because that was the one that I was sufficiently sure about, without spending too much time on this (I have other things to do, and reading through other peoples LLM-generated pages with a fine comb is not very fun or engaging for me, I do more than enough of that already). Your apologies are noted, and I will AGF and assume that you will now stop doing this? Any work to fix them on your behalf would be very appreciated. ‑‑gurkubondinn 12:03, 22 August 2026 (UTC)

Yes, you would have to rewrite them to get them back into article space. The WP:NOLLM guideline prohibits AI-generated text, plain and simple. Reviewing them is immaterial, as the text is still AI-generated. This sometimes gets conflated with the WP:G15 speedy deletion criteria, because the old version of it said "unreviewed LLM-content" (that has been changed somewhat recently), but that is only a speedy deletion criteria.

If you are having problems with reference formatting, you can take a look at my User:gurkubondinn/REFPRIMER essay. It seems like you have already found WP:REFBEGIN and that you are aware of the reference toolbar.
