Oh hey

Just letting you know, you_have_too_many_userboxes. Maybe get rid of a few. If someone asked you to describe yourself in five minutes, do you really think you'd cite all those traits and interests? And studying a Wikipedia user's userboxes has been proven to be one of the most effective methods of password guessing. Cheers m8 97.97.128.207 (talk) 04:10, 7 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Annotated Bibliography of Fly Fishing Nominated For Deletion

edit

Fishing Project Member: I'd like to bring to your attention that the article Annotated Bibliography of Fly Fishing has been nominated for deletion. I believe this article is useful and should stay a part of Wikipedia. There are literally dozens of bibliographies in Wikipedia and I see no reason this particular one should be deleted. As a member of the fishing project I would hope you do as well. Please weigh in on the debate at: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Annotated Bibliography of Fly Fishing Thanks: --Mike Cline (talk) 12:53, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cleaning up vandalism

edit

I got to your page from the Category:Wikipedians in the Counter Vandalism Unit page. I wanted to ask the advice of someone experienced in Wikipedia in general and in dealing with vandalism in particular. Today, I stumbled across the Web portal article which had been vandalized on the 19th of December (Blanked) and several times since. I have, to the best of my ability, reverted the changes. However, I am not sure whether to put a warning template on the IP address user page. Thank you for your assistance.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
