Hi, peer comments on your article
editHello, I liked your article. I am working on ATP7A and I have a few comments:
- In the section of Role In Copper Homeostasis, maybe you want to give a brief description of ALS symptoms and how CCS mutations may result in ALS if this information is available. Or a new section can be created to briefly explain this.
- "As well as SOD1, CCS (gene) has been shown to interact with APBA1."----- gene name CCS should be italicized.
Thank you. Daamoy (talk) 18:53, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
Constructive criticism
editDear Batcheld,
My thoughts on your CCS article:
- missing s at the end of C. elegans. Actually there's a few typos. No biggie
- Great subheadings.
- Consider adding an inset equation or diagram of the active site under the mechanism section
- Just generally a bit more explanation of the most important points of the mechanism.
A question: Where did you manage to get that image for the GeneAtlas expression data. I can only assume it was already made cause I can't seem to find where you get those small size images from the Geneatlas website. On mine I just settled for putting a link.
Keep up the good work Rfwh (talk) 20:59, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
Feedback
editNice work on your draft article. Just one minor thing - section headers aren't normally capitalized in Wikipedia, so for example it should be "Structure and function" not "Structure and Function". As I said, that's a minor quibble - overall, nice work. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:34, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
