editHi Batman! Overall, I like that you discuss the various models, but want to know more about basic things like: how common is hybridization and does it always lead to infertility? What are its effects on speciation?...you mentioned studying genetics of hybridization can provide insights into divergence in the lead section-- Maybe add a section on this? See in text comments on lead section/overall organization. Esallinger1 (talk) 17:43, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
Peer Review
editNice work batman! Very clear organization of article. Some work is needed in citations and some changes in sentence structure could improve article. Also , by adding specific wiki links for certain terms and scientist could help link your article and provide additional backgroud information for readers not familiar with topic. Overall it is a great job! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcook1400 (talk • contribs) 20:44, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
Peer review review
editHi Batman! This article is looking good. Since you didn't have a third peer reviewer, I went ahead and put many specific comments in your article. I think your reviewers also had some good suggestions, so I would go ahead and start addressing the comments if they are in the scope of your article. Many of my comments were places where some of your article was unclear. For example, the Lynch-Force model was a bit confusing. I think this will be great after a bit of revision. Also, go ahead and make sure to finalize your formatting, including references. Advevol (talk) 19:43, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Response to editor comments
editThank you to everyone who contributed comments to my article! I clarified several points that were unclear, particularly in my write-ups of the DB model and the Lynch-Force model. I changed the wording/positioning of a few of the headings, most notably the with the Lynch-Force section and the Epigenetic Influences section. I had difficulty finding information on some of the points I was asked to expand on, but tried to give my best summary of the information I did find. There were a couple sections (like the 100 genes involved in hybrid sterility) that were not elaborated on further in the text, but I felt that the points were important and kept them in. Adding the references into an actual reference section was of course another big change. The article can still use some tweaks, but thank you all for helping improve it!
