A welcome, and a review
editHello
And welcome to Wikipedia. We could always use new editors. Please take your time to study Wikipedia:Five pillars article. Believe me, it is crucial for every editor to read it; saves them a lot of trouble and surprises.
That said, I am here with the review of your performance so far. The first thing I want you to know is that it is okay for new editors to make mistakes, as long as they learn from them. My own first review wasn't exactly a merry one but it was alright in the end. Now, reviewing your 10 first edits in Wikipedia, here are a few thing to consider in the future:
- Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit consists of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Minor edits are those that the editor believes require no review and could never be the subject of a dispute.
- Please do not use external links in prose or navboxes. Wikipedia policy about the use of external links can be read in Wikipedia:External links article. But to summarize it, Wikipedia seeks to avoid external links as far as it can help it. In addition, they can only appear the "External links" section at the bottom of the article, inline citations or general references but never in the body of an article. Definitely do not use them in "See also" sections.
- Visual Studio Online is the old name of Visual Studio Team Services; they are the same thing
I know, that might have been a lot to remember at once. Carefully peruse them and hope for the best. Happy editing.
