Your recent edit to Carl G. Fisher
I tried to access the Harper's article by Reyes and found you have to pay money to read the article. How about if I replace your references with ones that are more accessible? Also, while Reyes' article might be good he had to get this information somewhere. The standard source is Jane Fisher's book FABULOUS HOOSIER which is available to be downloaded at http://www.firstsuperspeedway.com/books/fabulous-hoosier GroveGuy (talk) 04:15, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
What I was trying to say was that Reyes' article is written today about things that happened long ago. Before he was born. Since he couldn't directly know about such things he must have learned about them from some more primary source. Such as Jane Fisher. I am going to replace the Reyes references with better ones. Also, I do not think a current AAA book is going to tell us anything new about the Lincoln Highway. GroveGuy (talk) 01:43, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for awarding me the Defender of the Wiki Barnstar. I was getting a bit discouraged at actively defending the minority position in the second of two very recent RfCs, and the barnstar gave me the energy to continue discussing the issues in a civil way. Many thanks. — Becksguy (talk) 02:35, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Hello Bearian, I see that you have turned this into a redirect per the merge that I performed. However, I would like you to fix the links in the What links here page for the redirect as well as the redirect's talk, seen here, so that they point to the right article, per the instructions on Help:Merging. Thank you. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 18:39, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- Let's keep the discussion on your talkpage, since I first edited here. Anyway, some of the links do appear to be in mainspace, mainly the Wikipedia: ones. I just wanted to correct their linking. But if you disagree, fine, I won't discuss it any further. I do have a question though: why did you change this? :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 03:16, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Please see if adjustments made to article on this notable Jamaican are suitable and sufficient to remove the multiple tags you have placed. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nickmini (talk • contribs) 04:50, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Rand Paul
I can't believe you, an administrator, would add such poorly and unreliably sourced content into a BLP and call it a controversy. An absolute inappropriate contribution, especially for an admin. Truthsort (talk) 19:15, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Outside opinion
Hi, I am seeking outside unbiased opinion from an experienced admin that I don't know. I seem to be running into a conflict with another user in two article talk pages: Talk:Galactic_quadrant#Notable_features and Talk:List of celestial bodies by galactic coordinate system. What do you think is the issue and how would you suggest resolving it? Sorry about being vague, but I'm trying not to sway you before you see what's going on. Thank you. —CodeHydro 13:32, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- If it's alright with you, I'll give you more background after hearing your initial opinion. —CodeHydro 13:35, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for looking into this. Sorry for the slow response as I have been preoccupied (had more than one mild family emergency this weekend). Anyhow, regarding my conflict with WikiuserNI, this is not the first time... we nearly went into an edit war, which I simply backed off from (see edit history between August 18 to August 20 for Galactic quadrant. I've looked into the contribution history of the user and find that while he's an established user, he removes a lot of content from wikipedia. Looking at his talk page in the past, I've noticed that I'm not the only editor who feels he may be Wiki-Hounding and has poor Wikiquette... —CodeHydro 17:51, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
- Well, since ignoring him seems to be working, perhaps I should just drop this unless he attacks again. —CodeHydro 20:44, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

BOWBEARER
Bearian
I'm a Cambridge academic and I've updated the Bowbearer article as best I can. A great improvement on what it was, I hope you'll agree. I wrote the Cambridge History of the Lordship of Bowland. you might like to know, which I cite in my revisions. So no infringement of copyright there.
I can't change the title of the article, however. Lack of technical skill. Can you help? It shouldn't read "Bow bearer" but "Bowbearer".
Please feel free to contact me on swjolly@btinternet.com

the Public Policy Initiative Assessment Team wants You!
Hi Bearian,
I saw some of your contributions on an article that falls within the scope of Wikiproject: United States Public Policy, your expertise in law would be incredibly valuable for this project, and I was hoping you would be interested in assessing articles with the Public Policy Initiative. There is more info about assessment on the 9/13/2010 Signpost. If you're interested or just curious you can sign up on the project page or just contact me. Thanks! Speedy deletion of Death of Roland Ratzenberger
A tag has been placed on Death of Roland Ratzenberger, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.
If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your reasoning on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DASHBot (talk) 00:00, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Hey, haven't chatted with you in a while, how's it going? Anyway...what do you think of redirecting that to Queen_(gay_slang)#Size_queen, instead of Human penis size? The about.com definition only mentions gay and bi men, no mention of the term for woman. CTJF83 chat 04:00, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
