Are you a racist?
editDon't shoot, I'm asking for a friend! Not a friend, really, but a stranger from the Iowa Democrat caucus talk. Seems you may have had a feeling about Andrew Yang's symbolic colour a few months back, might have rubbed some readers the wrong way, ring any bells? Anyway, the full complaint is back at your section, and my strange new friend is waiting to hear you confess, clarify or correct him. Or her. Like I said, we just met, it could be Yang himself or a German cyberbot or even a non-binary editor behind the numbers.
The important thing is turning a blind eye to the accusation would make me and my superiors complicitly racist under the new regulations, and I think we can both agree I'm not going down for your perfectly innocent and well-meaning coincidence. Half the force already thinks I hate yellow, but it's not like that, see? I just don't want the whole map turning yellow. You ever see a yellow map? They look ancient, out-of-touch, dragons everywhere!
Anyway, defend your good name and I'll see what I can do about redeeming mine, OK? It was a pleasure meeting you under these unfortunate circumstances, and with a little luck, you'll join the revisited discussion on the New Rainbow Order (Mayor Pete is the new Andy, and Amy's going green, but I think you'll recognize some classic colourful characters). Peace! InedibleHulk (talk) 22:44, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
- I promise I am not! I explained myself on the talk page. Sorry for any confusion. Beccabecco (talk) 03:28, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
- Didn't bother me, I figured you were innocent. Thanks for confirming it! Slightly befuddled by your notion of cream colour (seems a bit too off-white for my taste), but that's between you and your grocer, I guess. InedibleHulk (talk) 18:11, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
