Please don't insert your posts in the middle of a thread. It's confusing.
Always interesting when a user account is created just to participate in a talk page discussion, and in one of their first edits sees fit to explain how Wikipedia works to an experienced user... user:John from Idegon was not attacking you, and I doubt very much he needs your condescending explanation of Wikipedia image copyright issues. I happen to agree that we should start by looking at what images we have access to, not images that we might hypothetically get access to. There must be thousands of images we don't have access to that would be nice to use. If you have one in mind then by all means try to arrange for the permissions and upload, but please don't suggest its use until after you have done so. Meters (talk) 04:23, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- Lmao, John is clearly not an experience user if he thinks I was talking on behalf of Wikipedia when asking for copyright permission. I was not inserting my posts in the middle of a thread, that's just simply incorrect. There are multiple topics of conversation in that article and I was merely commenting on the topic that we were discussing. If you noticed, John made two statements to me so I took the time to make two replies. John was attacking me because he accused me of speaking on behalf of wikipedia and he was attacking my position when I barely even took one. I merely added this image as a potential object of discussion yet he has the audacity to attack me over this.
- Did you even visit the link???????? I did reach out to them for permission via their Instagram post. So fuck off when you say "If you have one in mind then by all means try to arrange for the permissions and upload, but please don't suggest its use until after you have done so." LMAO REKT I have done so BeeBeoxus (talk) 07:34, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
This Whole conversation and excursion into the editing of the Ann Arbor, Michigan Article was a ridiculous adventure that feature the older, more experienced editors of Wikipedia correcting the newer user of this site. Instead of happily informing newer users they added snide comments and condescending claims. BeeBeoxus (talk) 08:32, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
