editConstructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the article Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Thank you. - Hi. Can you please explain why you keep deleting references from articles and using misleading edit summaries? Your second edit to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 article to add the word "which" also managed to remove 4,000 bytes of references.[1] Are you deleting references through unfamiliarity with the Wikipedia systems, or are your actions deliberate? Road Wizard (talk) 19:12, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Road Wizard, removing the citations was certainly accidental; in editing the article I did nothing different to how I usually edit (I only generally make simple typo and style corrections). I just added the word 'which', entered the edit summary and hit Save page. Is there particular about that article that needs to be done when editing? I'll be more careful of editing in future. Thanks Benhaldenby (talk) 22:14, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- Not sure how all that happened then. I noticed it has occurred on three of your edits so far; 1 on Synecdoche, New York and the two edits to Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 I mentioned above. As there is no obvious reason why the problem is occurring it may be wise to click the "show changes" button before saving an edit; that way you will see if something more than the typo change has occurred. - Yes, I'll do that next time and keep a look out for what's causing it. Thanks Benhaldenby (talk) 04:12, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
