Article choice

edit

Hi Betty! I looked at the three articles you listed on User:Betty Cohn/Choose an Article. Because of the goal of this project is to raise the article by a full quality class according to Wikipedia's content assessment scale, my strong sense is that you'd best off by choosing the least developed article. Although I agree with your evaluations, I think that public health genomics is just far too developed. Donor conceived person is similar. Of the three, non-paternity event (which you seem to have selected) seems the best in this regards. Even then, it's not a horrible article but I think there's enough room to grow that you can make a real improvement. Happy to talk more or to give you feedback on other options if you want to go that way. —mako 22:50, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Benjamin Mako Hill, thank you for the feedback. Given that I want to choose an article to work on that is applicable to my dissertation research, I want to still try to improve Non-paternity event. I understand this may be challenging given that it is already a class C, but I am happy to try! Additionally, I am taking the course for a S/NS grade, so I am mainly here to learn as much as I can. @Betty Cohn: Alright, sounds good! Given that you (presumably, given your dissertation work) area already an expert in the subject, I have faith you can improve it pretty substantially. I'm happy to do whatever I can to help! —mako 05:50, 14 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
